Time to Assess Regular and Expedited Registration Applications

Regular Applications:

  • Benchmark — 15 Days

Expedited Applications:

Investigations

37% Increase in Courtesy Calls to Physicians 

Early Resolution:

  • January-June 2018 — 16% of cases ended in early resolution
  • October-November 2022 — 58% of cases ending in early resolution

Ontario Physicians and Surgeons Discipline Tribunal

 Time to reasons:

  • 2021 — 11.9 weeks
  • 2022 — 6.8 weeks
