CPSO’s Board election is an opportunity for registrants to make a difference in medical regulation in Ontario. The application period for candidates in the 2026 Board election runs from October 6 to 24, 2025.

The Governance and Nominating Committee (GNC) annually reviews the needs of the Board against its Board Profile, and sets out the attributes necessary or desired for a balanced skills-based Board. This year, the GNC is specifically seeking candidates who work and/or live in remote and/or rural areas. The GNC will review all applications and put forward a slate of nominees. This process helps ensure that the College is guided by strong leaders who reflect the profession and its commitment to patients.

Serving on the Board is a rewarding way to contribute to the profession and to serve in the public interest. If you are passionate about shaping health care in Ontario, we encourage you to apply.
